R.O.S.E - Hack Movement speed and/or Hack Level

Tools needed:

Hack your movement speed:

1 - Load Rose. Once you are logged in and ready to play, minimise Rose and get back into windows. If your in full screen Rose, use the WINDOWS key on your keyboard, or use CTRL+ESC. Either will kick you back to windows.

2 - Load up Tsearch and attach it to TROSE.EXE by clicking the "Open Process" button and then selecting TROSE.EXE.

3 - Click the little Search button with a magnifying glass (Farthest left), select "Exact Value" in the pull down, enter your normal movement speed (with shoes on), change the second pulldown to "2 BYTES" then click ok.

4 - You should now have a sizable list on the left side with tons of addresses. Now click the second Magnifying glass, the one with the "..." beside it. This time select "Decreased By". Make sure the Bytes is at 2 BYTES. DO NOT CLICK OK.

5 - Go back into rose, take off your shoes, your movement speed has changed, make note of it and get back to tsearch.

6 - Now do some math, basic subtraction: Movement Speed with shoes - Movement Speed without shoes = Our magic number. Example, ZantLoser's Speed with shoes ON is 500, if he takes his shoes OFF his movement speed is 400. His magic number is 100.

7 - Enter your Magic number into the Value Box in tsearch and hit ok. Once its done (usually immediately) there should only be 1 item left in the list (sometimes up to 5 or so).

7 - Double click the item it left in the list, it should copy it to the box on the right. Once its there, check its little checkbox and then change the "Value" option to whatever speed you want.

You've just hacked your movement speed.

Now lets hack your Level so you can go get your ass kicked on Eldeon.

1 - We're picking up where we left off with the speed hack, right now you should have your movement speed hacked or atleast listed in the right side box. If so, move on to step 2.

2 - See that nifty little calculator smack in the middle of tsearch? Annoying isnt it, makes you wonder why the f*ck its there. Well heres why, Click that little "H" button on that calculator. Now its a HEX calculator, very useful.

3 - Some not so basic math (good thing we have a hex calculator eh?) see the address for your newly hacked movement speed? Enter it perfectly into the calculator using those teeny little buttons provided. Now hit the "Add" button (for those of you who never made it past preschool it looks like this ---> +) now enter "8A"([color=orange:2b734349bb]82 if using NARose[/color:2b734349bb]) into the calculator and hit the "=" button to get our result.

4 - Now replace our movement speeds ADDRESS with this new value the calculator spit out for us.

5 - That new value is your Level. go ahead, change it. Your done.[/list:u:2b734349bb]

And now you've successfully hacked your Level in Rose Online.
